Rene portrayed TEC5 Joseph Ramirez in the HBO mini-series Band of Brothers

In June of 2024, Rene jumped into Normandy in 2024 from a C-47, along with other Band of Brothers cast mates (and five Grey Beret Veterans) during 80th Anniversary jump operations conducted by the All Airborne Battalion
